Why Women Need to Lift Each Other Up in Recruiting

Smashing the "connect" button all day is NOT "networking."

Nor do you need to give equal value to all sides of a new relationship.

I get it. It's not that easy, and honestly, it took me years to master.
But it's the core of my success.

So how do you do it right?

What does it mean to "network with intention"?

It means understanding who and what the other person is professionally, their priorities, and how you can be of value in the long and short term.

It's about having a mindset of unconditional giving, knowing that the universe will work magic.

It's opening yourself up to new opportunities by being in new places with new people.

Be genuine and authentic in your interactions.

It's critical to seek mentors who can guide you and introduce you to their network. And Connectors, who naturally bridge different networks to be valuable allies.

So how can you find one?

It's about having a community of resources. This is especially true for Women in our industry, which is the impetus behind Talent Collective.

When it comes to recruiting, yes, many of us are competitors. And many of us work for ourselves. But there is so much value in collaborating and encouraging each other.

And that's what THIS is all about!
