I'll be honest, my perception of him wasn't too high before. I've heard a lot of negativity around him & his business practices. As well, some amazing things from folks that are both deep within his empire & those on the outside who I respect.
So like with anything in life, there are many sides and POV's
Going into this interview, I took it as a chance to form my own opinions about HIM as a man. I wasn't going to use this time to dissect all the accusations and rumors. Being I only had a short amount of time, I needed to ask the right questions.
I walked away actually liking HIM. He said a lot of things that resonated with me, specifically around that life is really about the people in it- relationships are EVERYTHING.
And you know what, I kinda like his peacocking about amassing wealth- its business right? Is it my style no, but does that mean it's wrong? To each their own.
The key piece of an opportunity is taking advantage of it. So when David Brier pulled Grant into our CH room a few weeks back, I seized it to invite him onto my show & I am thankful I did.
