Can companies stop trying to wedge "AI" into every possible aspect of their business when they may not need it?
Whenever I talk to a company about their use of AI, I want to know two things:
1. Where does the inbound data come from? (source)
2. What are you going to do with it? (action)
And yes, in many cases, the data will inform the "now what," but at least have a hypothesis, especially when we are talking HR/TA Tech:
- Can it improve DEI&B
- Make hiring more efficient and remove bias
- Allow recruiters and hiring managers to focus on the human elements
Well, if there is one person to talk about data, analytics, and people, it's Lisa Russel.
In addition to her day job at Visier, she is a serial entrepreneur passionate about diversity and recurring barriers. She is certainly one to watch in this space.
