How do REAL leaders suss out the real character of a potential new team member during an interview?
What questions do you ask in a relatively short interview to assess if they are good people, there for the right reasons, that you can trust?
It isn't easy!
One of their methods is to give a relatively simple and short assignment.
And they aren't necessarily gauging the actual content of the work so much as HOW the candidate gathered the info and engaged with the team.
A good leader will then ask the team for feedback and weigh it heavily into the evaluation of the candidate.
