This is a NOT TO MISS show for anyone in HR or TA/Hiring. I am thrilled to present e97 of #thePOZcast, all around Diversity and Inclusion in the age of the Corona Pandemic. Specifically as we are seeing so many companies cut budgets and programs in the down turn economy. We have made such great strides and its critical to continue and keep top of mind. I am excited, honored and humbled to introduce my two guests, experts on the subject. They are the Founder and Senior Consultant at Orgshakers, a human capital global consulting group.
First, the founder David Fairhurst: He recently Founded his own consultancy called Orgshakers – a consultancy which focuses on optimizing People in organizations. Until the end of last year he was Executive Vice President, Global Chief People Officer at McDonald’s Corporation – probably the world's largest HR roles with oversight of almost 2- million employees in over 120 countries.
David is credited as one of the key leaders in delivering the company’s historic business turnaround, which saw the firm’s market capitalization rise from $93bn to $147bn in just 4 years. You can certainly check out the rest of his resume online.
He is known to be a disruptive and strategic thinker, previously making predictions which have appeared in The Financial Times Newspaper and he tells me that today he has a few more to share with us.
And thrilled to welcome Maya Bordeaux. Prior to OrgShakers, she served as Chief Human Resources & Communications Officer at Tribune Publishing, leading all people strategies and programs, as well as all internal and external communications. Her previous tenure includes leadership roles at Wilton Brands, McDonald’s Corporation, NorthShore University HealthSystem.
